73. 다시 독일로  오후에 짐을 꾸려 가까운 독일로 다시 들어가기로 결정을 하고 차를 몰았다. 이미 독일을 세 번이나 들어갔다 온 경험으로 미루어 독일 땅은 예측이 가능하였다. 운전도 아주 자신이 있었다 독일에 갔을 때 받은 지도를 살펴보면 경치가 좋은 곳은 별도로 도로를 녹색으로 칠해놓았는데 그 구간이 지금 우리가 가려고 하는 하이델베르크 지역이다. 단숨에 차를 몰아 하이델베르크로 들어가서 주유소에 가서 캠프장 안내를 받아 수월하게 찾았는데 그 캠프장은 하이델베르크 성 아래를 흐르는 강변에 있는 작은 캠프장인데 잔디가 살이 올라 푸르딩딩하고 기름지게 자란 아주 좋은 곳이었다. 여기서 여장을 풀고 접수를 보는 아가씨에게 환전소를 물어보고 이것저것 농담을 나누다가 돈이 없어 나중에 지불하기로 했다. 이곳..

72. 프랑스로 스페인에서 올라오는 길에 저녁 8시경 배가 고파, 휴게소에 들려 된장국을 끓이고 밥을 해서 먹기로 하고 자리를 잡았다. 그런데 주위를 둘러보니 여행객들로 바글바글한데, 특히 흑인이 많았다. 그들은 늦은 시간이라 운전이 곤란하자 차를 대고 모포자락 하나 가지고 주차장에 벌렁 누워 잠을 청하였다. 가만히 보니 대부분 프랑스로 들어가는 차 같은데 이 차들은 아프리카의 모로코 인근의 친지에게 갔다 오는지 아니면 스페인 남부의 휴양지를 갔다오는지 정말 차는 명절을 세고 짐을 바리바리 싸서 이고 가는 귀가길의 행렬처럼, 마치 우리처럼 차는 짐으로 꽉 차있는 전형적인 아프리카의 고달픈 삶의 모습을 보여준다. 그 사람들의 깊은 애환이 베어있는 듯이 땅바닥에 깐 담요자락에서 소리없는 탄식과 체취가 베어 ..
